About the role

As a skilled yardhand assigned to a top manufacturer of customized piping systems in Mossvale, you will be assigned to a day, afternoon, or night shift. Your responsibilities will include:

• Pick and pack items as per delivery request
• Label product with consignment notes and delivery addresses
• loading of products for dispatch onto trucks and couriers
• Provide accurate cycle counts
• Liaise daily with team leader on work load and plan
• Ensure products are kept in a clean and safe manner
• Visually check quantity and quality of finished products and inwards goods upon delivery to the warehouse
• Organize the storage of finished product
• Store label or mark stock in away the product is easily identified (stock coils and lengths)
• Packaging of extruded product to specifications when required (secondary operations)
• Liaise With Warehouse Leader of any delays in product despatch
• Transport stock between warehouses when required.
• Help place raw material away.
• Assisting with production when needed

• Be able to provide evidence of a good solid work history
• Eagerness to learn and be a part of the bigger picture
• Experience in a production environment or other hands on role preferred
• Valid LF Ticket required
