My name is Sofia Piliae & I am Impact's Community Engagement Partner.

I started my journey with Impact in February 2021 when I came across an ad on Seek that read, “Give a DAMN about what you do.” I thought to myself, if somebody can express such passion in an advertisement, I could only imagine what sort of moves they were making behind the curtains!

After an introductory phone call with Letizia who provided an outline of the company and let me know exactly what she and Impact stand for, as well as insight into the changes she and the team were pushing to make, I knew from that point on that this was where I was meant to be.

I am a risk-taker, hungry for new adventures and super passionate – which means I fit in well with the rest of the crew here at Impact. Working with Impact has taught me so much about different industries, how to work alongside different types of people and so much about myself that I wouldn’t have been able to discover otherwise.

If there’s ONE lesson I have learnt from Impact that I know I will carry with me for the rest of my life, it would be...
